Meet the people behind Five Acre Life, Rina and Rob. 

Together since 2022, Rina and Rob built Five Acre Life from a shared dream of creating something meaningful together. In 2024, they made the bold decision to sell both their homes and purchase the 5 acre property where they could build a future together from the ground up. Since then, they’ve spent countless hours transforming the space little by little, always with new projects, ideas, and big plans ahead.

Their days are filled with the things they love most: homesteading, woodworking, long hours cutting grass, good music, great comedy, and enjoying Canadian country life — usually with a whiskey nearby.

In 2025, they celebrated another milestone by hosting their wedding right on the property, surrounded by family and friends. Together, they’ve blended a family while continuing to grow Five Acre Life into a place that reflects their values, passions, and love for the lifestyle they’ve built together.

Staying in the Blue Moon Bungalow

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. The perfect place to escape for a few days. With wide open landscape, a clean and cozy cottage,  and a telescope to view the stars at night, this is country living at its finest.  Enjoy an active life? The Trans Canada Trail is accessible directly from the property! Listen to the birds chirp as you enjoy your morning coffee on the patio. There's a fully equipped kitchen and a barbecue if you enjoy making meals, or simply take a short 3 minute drive to a quaint town filled with lots of dining options.
